Alot of my experience with computers comes from using your average home PC.  I have always had an interest in how they work and what you can do with them and repairing and troubleshooting errors.

The most common problems I come across with your home PC is "my computer is running slow and comes up with an error message, virtual memory is running low".  This error occurs in older PC's basically because there isn't enough memory (RAM) in your machine and is an easy fix. 

For this repair I have been quoted £50 - £70 from some businesses which I believe is way over the top.  All I would charge for the repair would be the cost of the memory, which wouldn't be more than £15, and another £15 to install it, a total of £30. This is £20 less than the cheapest quote i have had.

Home call outs are now available, no call out charge for the southport area, only available on a thursday and Friday.
